StandUp Leadership: Teens in Action
STAND UP Leadership Team in a joint effort between HelpLine and the Delaware General Health District to broaden the mission toward youth prevention education and awareness.
Teens STAND UP to accomplish the mission of:
- Promoting positive self images
- Promoting a positive future
- Ending teen tobacco use
- Ending teen drug and alcohol abuse
- Promoting positive mental health
- Ending teen sexual violence
- Promoting healthy relationship choices
- Ensuring the well-being of the environment
Vision:
We believe that being drug, alcohol, and violence free and by making positive choices we will help make ourselves stronger and our futures brighter.

Connections Training
HelpLine offers monthly training for non-profit organizations through Connections Volunteer Center to assist in promoting best practices and educate on trends and policies impacting the non-profit community.
Year-round training sessions are offered on subjects such as:
- Board and administrative governance
- Policies, personnel and public relations
- Grant writing and volunteer recruitment
